  19.     In MS-DOS Kermit (you didn't say which Kermit etc) I just did this:
  20. SET KEY
  21. pressed a key to be defined
  22. entered definition of \8\8\8\8\8\8\8\... (25 such)FOO
  23.     then while in Connect mode I pressed that key and everything
  24. came out just fine. I repeated the experiment but for the definition
  25. I kept pressing the TAB key. Well TAB key presses at the Kermit command
  26. level (where SET KEY runs) are converted to single spaces, so I got
  27. a bunch of spaces instead.
  28.     With MSK you can press until you get tired or until the 1KB
  29. definition buffer fills.
  30.     Thus I don't understand the difficutly unless you give us a few
  31. more hints to go on.
